Synclast launches web site and releases open source MIDP user interface library

Synclast announced today the general availability of the Synclast UI API, an open source toolkit for building state of the art, color interactive applications on the Java 2 Micro Edition's Mobile Information Device Profile.

Coinciding with the public release of the UI toolkit, Synclast launched its developer portal at http://www.synclast.com/developers.jsp. The portal provides detailed information about Synclast's current and forthcoming products, and an opportunity for developers to register to become part of the pending commercial launch of Synclast's J2ME application catalog.
